Design Brief || to design an ‘English Garden’ with a semi formal layout, a separate room for entertaining and a more wild/natural planting area.

The design concept for this garden was to try and create a relaxed/natural cottage garden feel to this garden with quiet seating areas near to the house and hidden within the garden that is shielded from view. A central vista was maintained to allow the eye to see right to the back of the garden. The introduction of mixed perennials, shrubs and herbaceous borders are to provide all year interest with hot summer highlights. The use of large trees and hedges creates a sense of maturity and provides even more privacy.
